We had a good Halloween with the kids. We went to the Searcy square where businesses where handing out candy. They also had a haunted house and a little train ride but the lines where so long that we had to talk the kids out of waiting for those! We also went to a few friends house and then called it a night. Katie was really getting into the "Trick or Treating" thing. She was just walking down the road constantly saying "Trick or Treat". It was cute.

So I know I really STINK at this blogging thing! Just wanted to tell everyone that we moved about 2 weeks ago! Yes we just moved last year.....stop laughing...this is only our 7th move in 9 years!!! We sold our house on Jennifer and moved to a little bigger house to make room for this new baby!
We are getting settled in. Actually I think I had all the boxes unpacked last week. (You know I am a pro at this now! ) This move was a little harder on me since I was 28 weeks prego at the time of the move. I have recovered I think! I will have to take a picture of the house and post it later. Come see us if you are ever in Searcy. Anyone coming for Homecoming??

We are loving cheering for the Harding Academy Wildcats! Katie has really loved being a cheerleader with her friend Grayson Daniels. Clayton of course likes to go and see his buds.

New Ultrasound Pics

We had our final ultrasound yesterday. Hoggard baby #3 is now 2 lbs 10 oz and doing great. They did a couple of the 3D pictures that you can really see her in. They are pretty amazing. They did not have those on my last two babies. I am feeling good, but I know it will probably be a long 10 weeks to the end!

Here are a few pic's of Clayton's first soccer games. They had 3 last Saturday. They won only 1 game but played better each game. It was a long day of soccer! Katie enjoyed the games and spending time with Aunt Ninnie for one game.

It is a HUGE deal to get the "Wild Cat Mail Call" at Clayton's school. They do it every Friday in Chapel. A teacher picks a student each week to get the mail call for their class. Clayton got it last Friday. They make a big to do about it. It was fun to watch him be so excited.

After chapel that same day Clayton's class had a "cat day" to prepare for the first Pep Rally. We painted all of the kids faces like a cat and took pictures. They also did other fun things throughout the day to gear up for the big really.

My friend Courtney and I took our boys to see Josh Gracin last Thursday night at Harding. It was a good concert. They boys had a great time! They were dancing crazy and doing lots of air guitar! Josh Gracin didn't come out until almost 10 o'clock so we didn't get to stay for the entire thing since it was a school night. But we still had fun. ( Lisa- I didn't get to hear Brass Bed which I was bummed about. But I heard that Harding was not going to let him sing it!)

Clayton got to invite a friend, Jaxson Daniels, to go with him to the first Razorback game of the season on Saturday night. They went with Poppa ( Phil) and Jeffrey. They had a great time.
Jeffrey was getting them pumped up before they left with the fight song blaring in the living room. Katie had to put her cheerleading outfit on and join in the dancing. Next time I will video tape it!

Katie had her first day of Mother's Day Out yesterday. She was so excited to go to "school" like Bubba. We bought her a new lunch box that she is VERY proud of! She had a great day and didn't cry at all when I dropped her off. She is getting to be such a big girl!

Clayton had his first day of 3rd grade on Monday. He is attending Harding Academy for the 3rd year now. He got Mrs. Cindy Gurchiek for a teacher which is who he wanted. He has had a great first week. Katie has been missing him at home:)

We are so excited to be adding another girl to the Hoggard family! Clayton and Jeffrey were rooting for a boy but a another sister will have to do! Clayton's response was "Great, now I have TWO sisters to look after!" He is a great big brother to Katie and will do super with another.
They left the due date at January 5th but my doctor said that we could probably sneak it in for 2008! (The last picture is a 3D picture)

We went to Gulf Shores week before last and had a great time. Katie and my niece Isabel had a wonderful time in the sand! I was able to get a few good pictures of Katie and Clayton on the beach together. Katie is great at taking pictures. She loves to pose! It was Clayton that had to be bribed! My mother-in-law, Judy, my mom, Emily and Joel were also with us at the beach. It was a good vacation!

My doctor's appointment went well last week. We just listened to the heart beat, which sounded great. I go back on July 29th to find out the sex of the baby!

Camp Tahkodah

Clayton spent the week at Camp Tahkodah last week. It was his first time to go to a week long, stay in the cabins camp! He had a wonderful time there. Made lots of new friends, swam in the creek, got a leadership award, and even had a date to the banquet on the last night! My baby is getting too old! The other kid in the picture with him is Cade Smith( nephew of Hannah Alexander who most of you know) They are great friends.

Here is the first picture of baby Hoggard #3! I went to the doctor last Thursday and everything is good. The only bad news is that the baby is measuring small and they changed my due date from December 18th to Janurary 5th! I was so sad! But if that is the only "bad" news then that is fine with me! They did the same thing to me with Katie and then she came a week before they said she would. So I am not going to pay too much attention to the new date for now. I would much rather say that I am 12 weeks than only 9!

We spent Sunday night at some friends house playing in the creek and in the dirt. The kids love it of course. The boys caught fish and we cooked them up and had them for dinner....yes only in Arkansas! It was really good fish too!

My appointment last week went well. I just met with the nurse to go over history.....boring stuff. They took blood ( felt like they took it all!) to run the normal tests on. The nurse gave me a due date of December 18th. I go back to see Dr Citty next Thursday the 29th. I saw him at Clayton's school last week and he said that we would do an ultrasound when I am there for that appointment.
(joys of a small town!) I am anxious to hear a heart beat and see that there is actually a baby in there! For the mean time I am just feeling fat! My stomach was quick to pooch out as it was with Katie.

Our Big News!

Well, we are happy to announce that we are expecting our third child! I am 8 weeks pregnant today. I should be due around December 20th unless that changes after an ultrasound.
I go to the doctor on Monday, the 12th for my first visit. We are all excited about our future new addition. Clayton and Jeffrey are hoping for a boy of course, Katie has no clue and I would be happy with either!
I will try to keep my blog full of baby updates and possibly a few growing belly pictures!

I am not a pro for sure....this was my first time to ever do this. I think they turned out ok.

I don't know if I will do that next year. It is so much easier and less stressful to have them done by someone else! Making them might be a little over rated if you ask me! (Maybe if I just had ONE party a weekend it wouldn't be so bad!) If you can't tell Clayton's was a football and Katie's was a Crown.

CLAYTON AND KATIE'S BIRTHDAY'S

Friday was Katie's 2nd birthday and Sunday was Clayton's 8th birthday. We had Katie's party on Thursday night at our house. We had a really good turn out with several kids. Cooked burgers and had cake of course. Katie had a great

time. She was a mad woman opening the presents! Jeff and I and his parents got her the little play house. That was a hit for sure. She played in it for most of the party as well as the other girls.

Clayton chose for his party to invite 4 boys from his class to go up to Nena and Poppa's (Jeff's parents) Lake House in Heber Springs and spend the night on Friday night. They had a great time playing outside on the rope swing, playing the Wii and watching Alvin and the Chipmunks. We had pizza and cake also. It was a great and very relaxing party for me! I can't believe they are 8 and 2! Time flies by so fast.

Just a few random pictures of what has been going on with us. Clayton has been playing Spring Soccer. He is actually pretty good. He scored 4 goals in one game! Katie is just a mess as usuall! She is such a busy girl! She loves hanging out with the boys.

Clayton also had a Spring Music Program last Tuesday night. I think he was supposed to be a City Slicker. He is on the second row with the black vest on and his hair is parted in the middle.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend with family. My sister Rachelle and her husband Will came for the weekend as well as my mom. We did a little Searcy shopping, dyeing eggs, and of course lots of eating! We had an easter egg hunt for Clayton and Katie ( mainly for Katie) after lunch on Sunday. She was really getting into finding the eggs!

Our First Trip to Disney World

We had a great first time trip to Disney World! Both of the kids enjoyed it and I am excited to go back! These pictures are backwards, sorry. We spent our first day at Hollywood Studios. Clayton LOVED the Tower of Terror and the Rock'n Roller Coaster. I did not ride either of those so I will take their word for it that it was fun. Our second day was at the Magic Kingdom. It was everything I remember it being and more. It is so fun to have been there as a child and now taking your children. I loved seeing Katie's face when she would see Mickey and Minnie and the crew. She would try to jump out of my arms so she could run and tackle them! Our last day was at the Animal Kingdom. Such a neat place and atmosphere. I was talked into riding the Mt Everst roller coster and no one told me that it went backwards at one point! It was fun but I was definatly ready to get off! ( I am not a roller coaster lover!) Enjoy the pictures.

Katie loved seeing all the characters. She was not scared at all! This was the only picture we got with any characters. We were never in the right place at the right time I guess.

I found a Harding Academy Wildcat Cheerleading uniform for Katie at a consignment sale here in Searcy this past weekend. It is a little big for her but just fine to play around the house in. She and Clayton had fun playing in their cheerleader and football player outfits this past Saturday. I am going to hang on to this picture for when Clayton is in High School and really playing football and Katie is a 7th grade cheerleader. It will definatly be in Clayton's senior slide show!

I have recently been receiving some comments on my blog from people that I don't recognize. Being curious to who they are, last Thursday I clicked on one of them. I WOULD NOT recommend doing that! There was a virus immediatly downloaded to my computer. Luckily my spyware caught it first. Moral to the story......if you are receiving comments that say "click here" DON'T DO IT!!!!

A weekend with the cousins

We had lots of company this past weekend. Jeffrey's brother Joel and his wife Emily and their two girls, Isabel and Grace were here as well as Jeffrey's uncle Bryan and his son Brooks.

The kids had lots of fun playing together. Katie and Isabel are about 10 weeks apart in age. They are almost to the point of having a lot of fun together. For now they do a lot or parallel playing and trying to share! Jeffrey's cousin Brooks is 10. He and Clayton have a blast together. We let Clayton play hooky from school on Friday so they could have more time to hang out. (Shh...don't tell)

The weekend was going well until I came down with the stomach bug. I am glad to be well again. Jeffrey came down with it on Sunday night and is much better now. We hope it has left our house! I hope we didn't send it home with our company!

No new news in Searcy. Katie is growing everyday and talking more and more. Clayton is doing great. He has found a new love for College Basketball. He now watches ESPN Sports Center in the morning before school instead of cartoons. My baby is growing up!!! :(

Katie was the cutest Lady Bug ever! And Clayton was a scary Pirate last night.The kids had a great time Trick or Treating. Katie was really getting into it! She would go right up to the door and take the candy and put it in her bucket, say "Tanks" and walk away. It was cute. Clayton ofcourse had a great time going door to door. He had a friend with us so they were being silly boys.

We had a little photo shoot at my friend Lauren's house yesterday. The little baby boy is Chad and Elizabeth Smith's son, Riley. He is about 2 months old and Katie loves to see him...and hit him sometimes! She is not too good at the "being gentle" thing yet.

Katie loves the flowers. She loves to smell them and eat them. I hope mums are not poisonious!

Katie and I stayed in all day yesterday because it has been so cold and rainy! I sowed all day and Katie was being my little helper. She enjoyed playing with the measureing tape the most.

She is growing so much! She is talking some, mostly saying "No" to everything you ask. Sometimes it is funny but sometimes it is not!

Rachelle and Will's wedding was this past Saturday in Springfield. It was so beautiful Everything went great....no wedding disasters. Katie was the flower girl and Clayton was a ring bearer and I was a bridesmaid. Somehow I took NO pictures of Clayton! I just took some in the girls dressing room before the wedding. I am sure someone took some of him so I will post those later. He looked VERY handsome and grown up! Katie did great going down the isle...well, running down the isle! Of course, I had to sit down during the wedding. I am becoming a pro at doing that. I figure it is better for me to sit than steal the show fainting!

Rachelle and Will are now in St Lucia at a Sandals Resort. I am so happy for them!

The Searcy Fair!

We went to the fair last Tuesday night. We saw all of White County's finest! Clayton had a great time riding the rides. He also managed to get Nena and Poppa let him do one of the booths that you pay $2 to pick a duck and see what you win. He picked the duck that only gave him a beach ball so he pouted just enough to have Nena go over to the guy and ask if she could just buy the blow up Patirck from Spongebob. He was happy then. Katie enjoyed the petting zoo. She was not too sure of the goats and the HUGE cows. She loved looking at the little chicks though.

Clayton's frist day of school was this past Friday, the 10th. He had a great first day. He got the teacher that he wanted, Mrs. Brown but none of his close boy friends are in his class this year. He was a little upset about it at first but I think he is fine with it now. I can't believe he is already in 2nd grade! He is getting so big! We are so proud of the little man he is becoming!

Well, first of all, everyone is back home and I am so glad. It felt so good last night to be home with both of our kids and sit in the floor and play together. What a blessing children are!

We went to Springfield for my 10 year high school reunion this past weekend. Other wise I would have loved to be at Vanessa's wedding! The reunion was fun. Most of my girl friends were there but not all. Mostly no one has changed! And most everyone still lives in Springfield! I posted a couple pic's....I know ya'll (Harding girls) probably don't know any of them! My sister had her wedding shower at church in Springfield yesterday. It was a great shower. I am so happy for them!

This next weekend (Nashville girls) I am coming to Nashville!!! Sorry for the short notice. We are throwing a lingerie shower for Rachelle on Saturday night at the Brentwood Grill. Jenny and I and the kids will be headed there on Friday. Hopefully I can squeeze in seeing some of you! We will be at Otter Creek on Sunday. They are having their wedding shower there this next Sunday. Have a good week....I will be calling you Nashvillians soon!

Here are a few pictures of the kids that I tool last week. Clayton left yesterday for Destin, Florida with my sister Jenny, her husband Daniel, and two other families that have kids. He was so excited. They will not be home until next Saturday and I am already missing him! Katie went home with my mom last Wednesday to Springfield. I am REALLY missing her. I am meeting mom in Branson tomorrow to shop and get Katie. They have had a great time together but I think that my mom is getting worn out. Katie is a very busy girl! Jeffrey and I have enjoyed our time without the kids. It has been so quit around the house! We will be ready for Clayton to be home and have our family back together again!

We've Moved!

It happened so fast that I have not had a chance to tell our friends that we have bought a new house in Searcy and have already moved in! Jeffrey's parents sold their house and are moving into our house on Honey Hill Rd. So we decided it was time to buy our own home! (no we did not get kicked out...it was a mutual decision!) We are really enjoying being back in a neighborhood and being closer to town. Clayton is loving riding his bike and Katie is enjoying the fenced in back yard to roam around in.

Well, we have all been to deaths door and back this week with the flu bug! We are all finally better. I am so ready for Spring and Summer to get here and have everyone stay well! It has been a hard winter for Katie with all the runny noses and ear infections.
Clayton is hard at work trying to decide what to do for his birthday party. It is April 20th and he is already thinking about it!
Not much else going on here in Searcy. Jeffrey is working on getting his Closing Company up and running. He has hired me to keep him organized! We already have several orders for March so hopefully we will get a good reputation fast!

Happy Valentines Day from the Hoggards! Jeffrey and I tried to share a nice meal at home tonight but for those of you that have kids.....you know that didn't really happen as planned! Kaite is still battling the runny nose, ear infection and cough. So she is a real joy!

Clayton is well, however.....he did enjoy a nice "romantic" meal of Chick-fil-a in his room by himself watching a movie. He was in heaven! He had a nice party at school today and got lots of Valentines from his friends. He told me last night when I was putting him to bed that "I am not going to ask anyone to be my Valentine at school tomorrow because I am not the kind guy that can just jump out there and say "hey. will you be my Valentine" I thought that was pretty funny. He keeps us laughing everyday!

I have had some requests from friends to creat a blog so we can keep in touch eaiser....so here it is! I am not sure I know what I am doing but I will give it a shot! I will try to be good about giving family updates and posting pictures. As of today..... both Katie and Clayton are sick with colds. They are currently both napping so I am enjoying some quite time of my own.
Hopefully Clayton will be going back to school tomorrow. This is his second day at home this week!
